Sun vs. Snow

As it is getting colder and colder in Europe, it’s getting hotter and hotter in here! Last week temperatures rose higher than 30 C on some days – and that’s only the beginning! Uh, unbelievable. Sometimes I’m missing the golden autum and icy winter and am waiting for the cold days, as they are supposed to be at this time, well, yeah, but no chance! But going to the beach is great “excuse” :-)
Today, we went to Cottlesloe Beach nearby, after fighting with the waves we had some fish’n'chips and icecream! Yum! Check out gallery!
My room situation will change in the next week, I’ll move to another room in an small house north of the uni. It’s furniture! And close to trains, parks and cheap! Housemates seem to be quite nice, the first thing they did was offering a tea to me! Great!

    I could get jealous when I see the pictures. Here it realy starts to get cold. Tomorrow its Thanksgiving and its suppost to snow. And I have to drive ahhh… Will see what happen. Hopr you enjoy your endless summer ;) I start to freezzzz. My mum is coming to visit me next week :)
    Is it possible to get X Mas feelings when it is so warm? Here the people start already to put the Christmas stuff on their houses.

    It looks like you thought you could trick us, didn’t you! Those first three pics from your “Fish’n Chips” set are from nowhere near Cottesloe Beach (if I am not completely senile, or they ruined the whole place, respectively). Looks more like Fremantle to me.
    Other than that they made me really hungry :-)

    As usual for that time in the year we had about 5cm snow tonight. And even more snow is expected coming night and on Sunday. All of Hesse is covered with snow.
    Also as usual snow will be melted away until xmas, I assume.

    Hey bruderherz!!!
    deine Abenteuer sind ja wirklich klasse und ziemlich spannend wie wir auf den Foto´s sehen konnten, ja während du die sonne und den Strand genießt, haben wir hier diese woche den weihnachsmarkt mit dem ersten glühwein eröffnet. mit den kindern singen wir die ersten nikolauslieder und am Sonntag brennt bald die adventskerze.auch den schnee haben wir schon begrüßt am freitag waren es doch schon 5cm nur leider zu wenig zum Snowboarden…
    Wir freuen uns noch auf viele weitere Bilder und ausflüge

    Hi Tobi, also ich muss sagen, dass ich diesem kalten Nieselregen ohne zu Zögern Strand und Eis vorziehen würde ;-) – dafür haben wir den Glühwein (um das Wetter schöner zu trinken???)!!!
